Welcome

The Office of the Associate Vice-President, Students is home to an array of services and programs that are core to the student experience and student success. Our work supports an exceptional student experience at UBC by fostering student learning, development, and engagement through services and programs that aim to enhance student success, facilitate program connections between students and their academic units, and build institutional affinity for students at UBC’s Okanagan campus.

Our Portfolio

The AVPS portfolio brings together eight interconnected student service directorates united by a shared commitment to supporting the whole student. Together, these directorates help all students navigate and fully participate in their UBC education.

The AVPS Playbook 2026-2029

The AVPS Playbook connects our day-to-day work to the university’s broadest ambitions. The Student Strategic Plan 2026–2029 (SSP) sets the university-wide direction and priorities to strengthen student experience and success. The Playbook is our roadmap to bring that strategic plan to life at UBC Okanagan. In it, you’ll find the goals and actions that we have as a portfolio, outlining not only what we will do but also how we will do it.
